The objective of the transversal programme "Genomic Variability 2018" is to understand the role played by genes and their variants on the development of pathologies by using both longitudinal monitoring of individual cohorts and their phenotyping and by promoting the development of new methods for the analysis of longitudinal data. This knowledge base will contribute to improving the interpretation of the association between genetic variants detected in an individual and a disease or endophenotype and to better understand the role played by genes in phenotypic variability. Our laboratory is more particularly involved in methodological developments for the integrative and longitudinal analysis of genomic data and in the interpretation of the role of genetic variants on phenotypes.
