Intérêts de la recherche
Je suis chef de groupe en génomique fonctionnelle au TAGC depuis 2011. Nous réunissons une équipe interdisciplinaire de chercheurs et d'ingénieurs avec un large éventail de compétences (biologie cellulaire et moléculaire, (épi)génomique, bioinformatique). Nous avons une longue expérience dans les approches pangénomiques pour décrypter les mécanismes épigénétiques et de régulation des gènes en jeu dans des contextes normaux et pathologiques. En identifiant une classe d'éléments cis-régulateurs (appelés Epromoters) et les processus à l'origine de la dysrégulation épigénétique dans la leucémie, l'équipe a apporté de nouvelles connaissances dans le domaine de la régulation des gènes.
Principaux domaines de recherche :
1. Dynamique épigénétique impliquée dans les transformations oncogéniques et la résistance aux médicaments.
2. Évaluation à haut débit de l'activité cis-régulatrice à l'aide de rapporteurs épisomaux et d'approches basées sur CRISPR.
3. Disséquer la base moléculaire de la fonction enhancer versus promoter des Epromoters dans des contextes normaux et pathologiques.
