Scientific and administrative responsabilities
My main mission is to ensure the harmonious and coherent development of the laboratory's IT and network in terms of bioinformatics, biological analysis systems, control systems and office automation; to administer and operate IT resources, hardware and software; and to ensure the commissioning of new systems and products.
As a bioinformatics research engineer, I am also involved in the deployment of bioinformatics methods (data processing workflows, analysis and interpretation) for the laboratory and the TGML platform.
I also perform various functions within the unit:
- INSERM and AMU IT correspondent for the UMR1090 mixed research unit (2015-)
- HAL collection manager for the laboratory (2023-)
- Website administrator (2023-)
- Representative, with Hortense Vachon, of the statutory ITAs on the laboratory council (2024-)
- Member of the laboratory's RPS unit (2024-)
Research interests
I'm currently involved in the design and deployment of several websites for different research projects in the laboratory in conjunction with researchers. These projects sometimes require the development and interfacing of relational databases, analysis pipelines or programmatic data access (REST). All these developments follow the principles of FAIR data.
In terms of data analysis, drawing on my experience in microarray analysis (transcriptome, 2007-) and high-throughput sequencing (ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, 2009-), I recently trained in single-cell RNA analysis for the needs of the laboratory.
Collaborations
internal to the laboratory :
- Benoît BALLESTER (remap project; 2020-)
- Christophe CHEVILLARD (cardiomyopathy project; 2024-)
- Andreas ZANZONI (mimicintweb project; 2024-)
for the TGML platform :
- bioinformatics support for TGML
- Pierre Szepetowski (INMED; 2024-)
